<p><strong>David Lynch</strong>&#8217;s films have gone a long way to making all of our lives that little bit more spooky and surreal.</p>
<p>Whereas some of this films follow a more or less linear plot that, although thoroughly disturbing, such as <em>Blue Velvet</em>, it&#8217;s not too much trouble to understand the story, other Lynch movies leave the view quite confused and unsettled. Films like <em>Lost Highway </em>and<em> Mulholland Drive </em>follow their own logic and stunning directing, acting and originality aside, they&#8217;re hard work to make any sense of.</p>
<p>In Lynch&#8217;s own words: &#8220;life is very, very confusing and so films should be allowed to be so, too.&#8221;</p>
<p>Perhaps though it&#8217;s Lynch&#8217;s long running TV series, <em>Twin Peaks</em> that guaranteed the cult status of his work and perverted many an otherwise normal adolescence.</p>
