Twitter in German

On a google search for twitterist around 257 million results are returned.

But search for taitterists and only 4,ooo or so pages come up.

This seemed a little disproportionate and while we have every hope that the term twitterist will come to descibe everyone who uses Twitter in the future, why should there be such a great difference just by adding an ’s”?

And then the school German lessons kicked in: Twitter ist means Twitter is in German and obviously the feed is just as popular in Germany as anywhere else in the world.

So maybe we’ll get to sell out to a German start-up, the Euro is certainly strong enough right now.
